WHY I COACH
Over the past few years, I’ve had to unlearn and unwind from a decade of big hustling and deep grinding.
There was a time when I had no real hobbies. When I showed up absent-minded with my loved ones. Half-assed any attempts at self-care. Always rushing to the next thing. Overwhelming myself by thinking I could do anything and everything, all at once.
Once I broke up with the idea that a job is an identity and that in order to be worthy I needed to “do do do”, I learned to walk slowly. To stand up for my needs. To be more present. To hear what isn't being said. To say what I mean. To trust my gut.
I bring all of my personal story into my coaching container, and I weave it with my formal coach training, a decade-long meditative practice, and a grounded belief in our inherent human resourcefulness.
Everything you need is already within you. That’s where we’ll begin.
WHO I COACH
You feel ready to make room in your life for personal development work. No excuses, full commitment.
You see and feel that what got you here will not get you to where you want to go next. You want to live in tune with your authentic self, creating a sense of alignment across all parts of your life.
You’re ready to redraw your boundaries - professional or personal. To make room for what actually matters to you.
You’re ready to reclaim your fundamental right to rest. You feel deeply the pain of chronic stress, attention fragmentation, and sleep deprivation.
You have an established self-inquiry practice (journaling, meditation, therapy, etc.) and you’re consciously seeking a path to living a more present life.
You know why you want a coach and what you want to get out of coaching. You will put in the work and take ownership over your outcomes.
HOW I COACH
I reject the notion of “self-improvement” and don’t coach in the old paradigm of “fixing your deficiencies”.
I coach in a pretty unique way, which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. While hard to explain, here’s an attempt…
A coaching session with me entails a rare mix of breathing, meditation, tapping into bodily and imaginal felt senses all with the underlying intention to anchor you in the present moment.
I will help you get in touch with parts of you (the voices in your head that are often in conflict with one another) in a way that honors each part for its unique gifts.
You’ll get to work a lot with your body’s intelligence to offer answers and to unleash your innate resourcefulness that’s waiting to be tapped.
Some sessions may feel more like you’re talking your way into a path forward, other sessions may feel like being guided into a deep meditative, almost trans-like state.
A client once compared this way of working to a “séance”, except one where you’re getting in touch with your own spirit. I feel like it sums it up pretty well.
THE INS AND OUTS
I work in seasons.
Each season is 3 months.
I ask for a full-season commitment.
We meet every 2 weeks over a video call.
Each session is 60 minutes.
I work on a sliding scale.
We set a developmental container (i.e. an intention or ambition) for the season.
After each session, you receive a thorough Recap from me.
The Recap contains The Work, which are experiments you’ll be conducting on your own.
Whenever relevant, I will share curated resources with you along the way.
We’ll do a retro at the end of each season, you decide if you want to continue working together.
I’m always only a text message / email away when you need me.
We become part of each other’s inner circles for the season and well beyond - for years to come.
We learn, we grow, and we thrive together.
